Refuse / Rubbish / Recycling

• The refuse and recycling is collected on Mondays
• Houses need to put their bins out on Sunday night or very early on Monday morning. Please do not put rubbish bags out before Monday mornings as foxes tear them open !
• Refuse collectors are one day late after a bank holiday.
• Apartments – bin rooms are located in the underground car parks.
• Houses - Please call : 08456 122 660 if you require a black recycling box.
• There are recycling bins in the underground car parks.
• There is a'Re-use & Recycle Centre' on Townmead Road – by the main gates to the estate.
• If you have any large items to be disposed of (eg. bed / fridge) – please call the council to arrange collection. (www.richmond.gov.uk)
  

• The properties are Kew Riverside are pre-wired at build stage. Because of this – it is a slightly more specialist set up for satellite & telephone
• The BT intake point for houses is in the garage.
• The BT intake point for apartments is above the top panel in the wardrobe of the master bedroom. (You will need a crosshead screwdriver)
• BT will not work unaccompanied in a furnished property – so please ensure you only agree to appointment times that you can attend.

• Buildings insurance is included in the Service Charge.
• Property Owners and Residents must arrange their own home contents insurance.
• Don't forget to include your bicycles on your home contents insurance.
• Landlords - even if you rent out your property unfurnished, you will still need a basic level of home contents insurance to cover carpets , curtains etc...

• Sky satellite dishes were installed at build stage.
• No additional satellite dishes are allowed – on houses or apartments.
• Kew Riverside does not have cable TV or telephone.
• Sky as a company do not work on pre-wired properties - their special offers etc ... only apply to full installations.
